Print brings with it a unique set of challenges but the payoff is always fantastic. Holding the artifact in your hands, the weight and smell of the thing. In a world dominated by screens, I love turning the pages to reveal a story. From books and zines to stationery, from a well crafted card to large poster.
Throughout my career I have become familiar with various print techniques and I enjoy working within their limitations to create pieces that captivate.
Consumer packaging is one of my favorite kinds of design challenges. Telling a product’s story, considering how the product lives in retail, how it works for the customer after purchase, and how it impacts the environment after it’s discarded are all questions that can inform meaningful design solutions.
